I have created a formal module and populated it by importing a spreadsheet. The attributes all appear to have been created correctly and the records populated. However whenever I try to save a View of the Module, DOORS does not save the included view columns. Closing the module and re-opening all the module views are identical to the Standard View, although the Filter is saved. This happens in both DOORS v9.5.1.2 and V9.6.0.0 (64 bit) with this one module - Views are saved correctly for all other modules in the database. The module properties look identical to all other modules.

Re: View does not Save Does it occur every time? If you import and save view in a new module, does it still fails to save a view? Sorry but need more info like error message or step.

Re: View does not Save Yes it was occuring each time for just this module - no error messages. Our supplier 'integrate'advised the solution - check in the View Save Advanced tab that 'column' is ticked. Problem solved - thanks for replying |
Re: View does not Save Check out the save-view dialog box. It has LOTS of options to check or uncheck. Be sure the "columns" option is checked. These options indicate which information is saved with the view and therefore loaded when you load the view. You probably don't want the "current Object" checked. Size and Location is very annoying to other folks with different sized monitors; especially if you have the window maximized. |
